Once your AIDA vita & Bella ship docks in Kochi, explore the area with this 7 hour combination tour. Float along the backwaters of the Alleppey (Alapuzha), where you will get to know Kerala’s inland waterways. Visit Fort Kochi, Basilica and St. Francis Church. Lunch and round-trip transportation from the cruise port are included.
Your shore excursion from Kochi begins with pickup from the cruise boat, where you’ll board a tour vehicle for the 90-minute drive to Alleppey (Alapuzha).
Once you arrive, step aboard the houseboat for a leisurely cruise through the inland waterways of Kerala. Relax as you glide past scenes of riverfront life, such as groves of coconut palms, local homes, and farms. Enjoy attention from the on-board staff of threrice, who will serve a traditional Keralan lunch of rice, fish, chicken, and vegetable dishes.
At the end of your houseboat tour, go ashore near Fort Kochi to tour the area with a guide. See the Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, and Basilica before drop-off back at the cruise port.
